Loan Officer works directly with clients in the field to promote loans, determine client credit worthiness, complete loan applications, conduct client follow up and manage assigned loan portfolio performance.
Main Responsibilities
• Promote and market VITAS products.
• Manage the application and approval process for assigned area.
• Complete the loan application at the applicant and guarantor’s location.
• Conduct necessary assessment of the business and business owners/homeowners.
• Ensure prompt submission of application documents, and loan disbursement and repayment.
• Provide periodic portfolio information.
• Contact clients and guarantors on loan approval/denial, additional information needed on pending applications, and for loan disbursal meeting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• High school degree, Bachelor degree preferred
• Ability to work independently
• Good knowledge and strong knowledge in local community.
• Good knowledge about mathematics
• Able to work in the field
Major Responsibilities
· Manage and oversee all aspects of the Loan Officer activities.
· Assist in developing and implementing strategies for marketing of Vitas Iraq products.
· Train Loan Officers in all areas of technical and administrative work.
· Maintain high portfolio quality in his/her area.
• Assist Loan Officers in achieving targets.
· Visit Clients.
· Review loan applications for completion, accuracy, eligibility, and repayment capacity.
· Provide final recommendation on loan amount, term and guarantee.
· Review reports related to branch portfolio and Loan Officer activities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Minimum TS degree or plus is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Able to perform field work.
• Prior experience in similar work.

Managerial and Leadership skills
Major Responsibilities
· Assist Senior Management in overseeing loan activities in all branches.
· Participate in developing the strategic plan of the credit department.
· Assist in developing and implementing strategies to market Vitas products.
· Monitor un-disbursed loans, loan targets, portfolio quality and ensure that the quality of the portfolio is maintained.
· Supervise and assist credit coordinators in overdue loans and provide support to achieve portfolio targets.
· Follow up and monitor Credit coordinators to ensure that they are following policies and procedures.
· Assist in training Loan Officers, Loan Officer Supervisors and credit coordinators in all areas of technical and administrative work.
· Participate in the Loan Review Committee.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor degree in Finance or Business or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in related field.

Major Responsibilities
Manage loan disbursment process ensuring that clients understand the loan contract, payment procedures and responsibilities. Also insure that collateral is secured.
Coordinate/Oversee liens on equipment and property with lawyer and Loan Officers.
Manage and maintain Vitas branch office.
Collect, approve and submit timesheets, leave forms, loaned property forms etc., from all Vitas branch employees.
Distribute and collect badges and other equipment given to employees at end of employment contract.
Oversee credit assistant drivers, receptionists, and other administrative staff.
Collect bank statements and other financial reports from bank.
Follow up with bank Branch Manager on errors in bank statements.
Review paid vouchers to ensure that information is complete before sending them to the main office.
Monitor bank balances and update treasury department about it.
Manage petty cash transactions.
Maintain office facility and office equipment and report on any maintenance need.
Maintain inventory list of branch office properties and equipment as per the policy.
In charge of procurement procedures of office supplies identified in the procurement policy.
Compile and submit procurement and maintenance requests to Main Office.
Maintain vehicle movement log.
Coordinate documents collection and mail delivery.
Supervise the proper filing of disbusrsement and repayment documents.
Coordinate and cooperate with Vitas finance, HR, procurement and back office departments and staff.
Participate in recruitment od branch admin staff ad provide training for branch staff as needed.
Prepare reports.
Perform any other task as required to assist in the smooth operations of CHF VITAS
